Vector Fabrics university research and teaching program
Vector Fabrics’ university research and training program objective is to support universities in their endeavours in the areas of parallel programming and the design of multicore/multi-threaded embedded systems. Universities established in these areas can benefit greatly from the Vector Fabrics' university research and training program in two ways:
- Joint Research Projects: pro-active support of jointly pre-defined research projects.
- For the duration of the project, the student will have access to additional resources such as a dedicated Vector Fabrics representative, licenses, pre-production code and/or other relevant materials.
- Teaching Licenses: usage of Vector Fabrics tools to support the curriculum/ teaching program.
- The objective would be to use the tools to further the students’ understanding of parallel programming and/or the design of embedded systems. The teaching license is valid for a year and commercial use of the product is strictly prohibited. Teaching licenses will be provided against special discounted rates
Teaching Licenses
Special discounted rates apply for universities for teaching purposes and non-commercial use.
- vfThreaded-x86 : License pack containing 5 licenses* valid for a year at € 1400 Euro per year
- vfEmbedded: License pack containing 5 licenses* valid for a year at € 8400 Euro per year
* License pack contains a minimum of 5 licenses, extendable with deltas of 5 licenses
