Satnam Singh

Senior Researcher, Microsoft's Cambridge UK lab

Satnam Singh is a senior researcher at Microsoft’s Cambridge UK lab and also holds the Chair of Reconfigurable Systems at the University of Birmingham. He currently works on two research topics: Alchemy (transmuting programs into circuits) and Concurrent and parallel programming in Haskell.
Mr. Singh is also a member of the programme committee for First Workshop on the Intersections of Computer Architecture and Reconfigurable Logic (CARL 2010).  He is also co-chairing the First t European NetFPGA Developers Workshop (EURODEV) in Cambridge. Mr Singh is the publicity chair for FPGA 2011 and the general chair and finance chair for MEMOCODE 2011.
He chaired the system level modeling track for DATE for three years and serves on the high level synthesis track committee.  He is a visiting professor at the department of electronics and electrical engineering at Imperial College in London and at Chalmers in Gothenberg Sweden; and a fellow of the IET. Mr. Singh has 70 publications to his name.
